Sandra R. Madgey

Sandy Madgey, age 81, of Villas, NJ, passed away peacefully on 11/15 surrounded by her family. Born and raised in Philadelphia on 10/29/44. Sandy later made her home in Kensington, where she raised her family with her loving husband, Fred. She carried a deep love for her neighborhood and was proud to be a Kenso.

A devoted mother, grandmother and Gigi, she dedicated many years to her community as a proud crossing guard, ensuring the safety of countless children and forming lifelong connections with neighbors and families.

Sandy, predeceased by her husband, Fred, is survived by her loving children: Missy (Perry), Walt (Toni) and Bill (Mary). She was the cherished grandmother of: Cait, EM (Tom), Freddy, Marissa (Justin), Patrick, Madison, Colin (Alyssa), Jimmy, Marilyn, Matthew, Timmy (Amy), Taylor, Billy, Cole and Grace. The adored great-grandmother of: Walker, Charlotte, Viviana and Sean. She also leaves behind her faithful companion, Molly. Her family was the center of her world, and she took great joy in every moment spent with them.

Sandy will be remembered for her warm heart, sense of humor, sarcasm, and the honesty and kindness she showed to everyone she met. Her legacy lives on in the generations she nurtured with love.

Please join Sandy's family on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Delaware Valley Cremation Center, 7350 State Road, Philadelphia, PA 19136, for a gathering of remembrance in honoring and celebrating Sandy's life. A service for her will begin at 7:00 pm, followed by time for refreshments and food, until 9:00pm. Sandy's family will be accessible to receive the loving comfort of your condolences, remembrance, and support throughout the evening.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Little Flower Catholic High School in her honor.

Sandy, Mom, Gram, Gigi will be deeply missed and forever loved.
