Sharon Lee Weimer (nee Pearson) 56, passed away at her home on Sunday January 26th 2025.
Sharon was born on November 21st 1968 to parents, Regina S Pearson (nee Pugh) and Kurt R Pearson in New London Connecticut. As an only child, at age 4, Sharon and her mother relocated to Levittown Pennsylvania and later to Philadelphia.
She began her education at St Dominic School and graduated from the Pennsbury School District. For a short time she worked for the Bucks County Court House, an experience she always looked back on fondly.
Sharon married William “Bill” Weimer Jr. on March 14th 1987. The two were each other’s lifelong companions and friends. They would go on to have three wonderful children; William III, Shannon and Valerie.
Sharon worked at Pizza Hut for several years. She would proudly reminisce about that time and the happy memories she shared with her children as they celebrated birthday parties and other milestones there. She then would go on to work for the University of Pennsylvania’s Sweeney Lab as a sterilization technician for over sixteen years.
She was infatuated with all things Egyptian and enjoyed antiquing, gardening and reading Stephen King books. Other hobbies included making beautiful pressed flower art, collecting unique coins and watching scary ghost stories on YouTube.
Sharon is survived by her husband, William Weimer Jr, her children; William Weimer III and his fiancé Rosemary Dolan, Shannon Weimer and Valerie Weimer. As well as her three grandchildren, Daniel Weimer, Nicholas Obidos and Sophia Obidos. She leaves behind many pets particularly her beloved cats Binx and Chuck.
She especially will be remembered for her infectious laugh, her adventurous and playful spirit, the many jokes and meaningful one liners and of course, that amazing golden “helmet” of hair that was her pride and joy.
Please join the Weimer family on Friday, March 14, 2025 from 6:00 - 9:00 pm at Delaware Valley Cremation Center, 7350 State Road, Philadelphia, PA 19136 for a gathering of remembrance in honoring and celebrating Sharon's life.
