Stephen J. McGill

Stephen J. McGill, 92 years old passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 18, 2024 in Doylestown PA surrounded by his loved ones. He was born in the Olney section of Philadelphia, a proud graduate of St. Helena’s Elementary School, North Catholic High School and LaSalle College.  He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years Janet (Jenny) Crane McGill, three children, Janet McGill Shepherd (David Shepherd), Andrew McGill (Jeanne McGill) and Stephen McGill Jr. (Theresa McGill) as well as eleven grandchildren: Ryan Shepherd, Nicholas Shepherd, Grace Shepherd, Amanda McGill, Connor McGill, Matthew McGill, Joseph Miller, Thomas Gheen, Sarah Gheen, Henry McGill and Charlotte McGill.  Steve was 92 years old, and lived a full, happy life. His wit and wisdom will be missed by all who had the distinct pleasure to know him.

Services for Steve will be held on Monday, February 26, 2024 at Mary, Mother of the Redeemer Catholic Church located at 1325 Upper State Road, North Wales PA 19454. Visitation for Steve begins at 10:00 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. No burial will take place on that day. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Holy Ghost Preparatory School Soccer program in Steve’s name.
