Sue Tomaszewski

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sue Tomaszewski, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Born on October 16 1965, Sue brought warmth, strength, and kindness to all who knew her.

Sue was a wonderful wife, and a proud and devoted mother of her children: Casandra A. Tomaszewski, Ashley M. Ortiz, and Vincent Ortiz. She was also a loving grandmother to her four grandchildren Anthony, Naila, Harold Mason, and Layla, who brought her endless joy and pride. 

Sue was preceded in death by her beloved husband Angelo Luis Ortiz, Jr., her mother, Luz Maria Tomaszewski; her father, Walter Tomaszewski; her grandmother, Providencia Morales; grandfather, Herminio Morales uncles , Joseph Sánchez and Edwardo Gomez. She is survived by her sister, Linda Tomaszewski. 

A true warrior, Sue faced her illness with unmatched courage and determination. Her fighting spirit was an inspiration to all, showing her resilience and unwavering love for life. Throughout her journey, Sue remained a source of strength and comfort, finding opportunities to create lasting memories with her family and friends.

Sue’s legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew her, who will forever remember her kindness, determination, and the love she generously shared. She leaves behind a lifetime of cherished moments and meaningful relationships.

Her family invites those who loved Sue to honor her memory and celebrate her remarkable life on December 23, 2024 from 6:00 - 9:00 pm at Delaware Valley Cremation Center, 7350 State Road, Philadelphia, PA 19136. A service for Sue will begin at 7:00 pm followed by time for refreshments and food. Her family will be accessible to receive the loving comfort of your condolences, remembrance, and support throughout the evening. 

Sue’s strength, warmth, and love will never be forgotten.
