Tammy Marie Gray

Tammy Marie Gray (nee Mason), also known as “Brown Eyes” by her Father, passed away at the age of 53, surrounded by her loved ones on Friday November 26, 2021. Born on June 23, 1968 in Philadelphia, PA to Robert and Florence (Hilghman) Mason. Tammy lived in Philadelphia and worked for the United States Postal Service in the Langhorne area until retirement.

Tammy is survived by her husband, Joseph John Gray, Jr., as well as, her loving children, Joseph, Stefanie and Shane Gray. Tammy is also survived by her brother Timothy Mason (Lisa), and her sisters Tina Day (William) and Tracey Mason. She leaves behind many beloved nephews, and nieces. Eddie, Nicole, John, Timothy, Michael, Abigail, and Maura. Along with many cousins and life long friends.

If you knew Tammy, you knew she loved her children and you could find her on a soccer, lacrosse, or baseball field, and every school function. Tammy was an avid book reader and loved attending the “Page Turners Book Club.” She loved to knit and listen to country music and learned the line dances to them with her friends. No dance floor will ever be the same without her there. She received her boating license and loved being on the water whenever she got the chance. Her love for elephants caused her to have an extensive collection as well as an adopted elephant, named Miguna Miguna, gifted by her son Shane, who she loved to track. She will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her.

In order to celebrate her life with family and friends you can pay your respects on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at The Village of Cottage Green located at 9001 Ashton Road, Philadelphia, PA 19136 from 11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. following will be a luncheon for those who can stay.
