Thomas A. Breslin

Thomas A. Breslin (“Tommy” / “Tom”), 66 years old, of Philadelphia, PA, passed surrounded by his family on January 29, 2025 and blessed by the compassionate care of Tender Care Hospice for over a year. Tom was born on August 15, 1958 to John V. Breslin and Rita J. (Norelli).

Tommy is survived by his siblings, James (Theresa) Breslin, Jack (Rita) Breslin, David Breslin and Joan (John) Patrick and many nephews and nieces, as well as “great” and “great-great” nieces and nephews and lots of cousins. He was predeceased by his parents and his brother, Robert “Bob” and nephew, Anthony “Tony”. He was the father of Mary Breslin. 

Tom was quiet and lived simply. He loved being outdoors. Tom was a Philly sports fan of the Phillies, Eagles, Sixers and Flyers. Tom suffered a traumatic brain injury at 52 years old which changed his life and brought him closer to his family. He was loved and will be missed by all who knew him. 

A funeral Mass will be held at St. Anselm Church, 12670 Dunks Ferry Road, Philadelphia, PA, on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. Burial will be private.
