Thomas J. Capuano

Thomas J. Capuano, 71, of Philadelphia, PA passed away peacefully on August 30, 2022.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the beloved son of the late Miriam (Fratis) and Vincent Capuano.

Tommy was an expert welder working at Sealion Metal Fabricators with his dad and brothers and also at the Philadelphia Navy Yard. He was an avid bowler. Tommy was a sports enthusiast and loved music, especially Motown and Classic Rock. He was very dedicated to his family, especially his mom, and loyal to his friends.

He is survived by siblings, Vincent (Debbie) Capuano, Stephen (Donna) Capuano and Kathleen (Tom) Metz, as well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Robert Capuano.

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend his memorial gathering Thursday, September 8, 2022 from 9:30 am to 10:30 am at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 1719 Morris Street Phila. PA 19145, followed by his Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 A.M. Burial immediately following at St. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the American Cancer Society.
