Thomas ‘Tommy’ Dunbar, 35, of the Port Richmond section of Philadelphia, died suddenly on Wednesday, April 13th 2016. He is survived by his loving parents, Debbie (nee Pietropaula) and Tom; brother, Scott (Kristin); partner, Heather Schult; grandparents Dominic and Sophie; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Tommy graduated from North Catholic High School and The University of Scranton. He was a project manager for Daniel J. Keating Company. Tommy was an avid cyclist and outdoorsman who felt most alive amongst nature. He was a comedian, deep-thinker and philosopher of all things, creating stimulating conversation wherever he went. He treasured his cat Snorky and his time spent as a handyman alongside his best friend, his father Tom.
On Friday, April 15th, Tommy’s life was celebrated in the same fashion in which it was lived, with family and friends who gathered to share laughter and memories.
Please honor Tommy by taking the time to appreciate the beauty of nature, respect it, nurture it and when you are surrounded by its splendor, take a few minutes to think of Tommy and smile.
