It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Tommy Meehan, who left us tragically at the age of 48.

He is survived by his mother Maureen Meehan (nee Carroll) sister Moira Katchuk (Steve), brother Brendan Meehan (Patti), nieces and nephew Maddi, Joey, and Siobhan. He is predeceased by his father, Thomas F. Meehan.

Tommy grew up with an artistic personality and a heart that could not be measured. For much of his adult life, he faced an uphill battle with internal demons. However, after a long journey, he achieved a remarkable milestone of five years of sobriety.

Though his life was cut short, the impact he made will live on for all who had the privilege of knowing him. He was always there to tell a funny story and put a smile on your face. He was a son, brother and friend who will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

Please join the Meehan family on Wednesday, April 2, 2025 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Delaware Valley Cremation Center, 7350 State Road, Philadelphia, PA 19136 for a gathering of remembrance in honoring and celebrating Tommy's life. A service for Tommy will begin at 7:00 pm, until 8:00 pm. His family will be accessible to receive the loving comfort of your condolences, remembrances and support throughout the evening.
