Timothy W. Baran, Jr.

Timothy W. Baran Jr. passed away on January 1, 2026 from heart failure. Born April 16, 1972 in Woodbury New Jersey.

He leaves behind his daughter, Harper, mother, Barbara, brother, Thomas, sister in law, Danielle, niece, Miranda, his favorite aunt Peg, uncle Jack, aunts, cousins, Harper’s mother Stephanie, and many close friends including Ed, Chris, Craig, Tom, Nick, and everyone from Cedar Avenue.

He was preceded in death by his father Tim Sr., cousin Erik, and uncles, John and Gerald.

Tim was a health & phys ed teacher at Greenfield Elementary School for eleven years. He also coached girls volleyball with many championship teams.Tim grew up in the Andalusia section of Bensalem. He attended Bensalem High School, Lock Haven University, and received his master’s from the University of the Arts.

Please join Tim's family on Friday, January 9, 2026 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Delaware Valley Cremation Center, 7350 State Road, Philadelphia, PA 19136, for a gathering of remembrance in honoring and celebrating his life. A service for him will begin at 7:00 pm, followed by time for refreshments and food, until 9:00pm. Tim's family will be accessible to receive the loving comfort of your condolences, remembrance, and support throughout the evening.

The family requests that everyone bring a PG rated story about Tim to the celebration which will be made into a book for Harper to have these treasured memories of her father.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Jefferson Hospital Heart Failure Unit, or ACCT Philadelphia
