Timothy Claxton

Timothy “Tim” A. Claxton was born April 22nd, 1948 to James J. Claxton, Sr and Anna R. Claxton. He passed away on June 25th, 2024 at Jefferson Bucks County Hospital surrounded by his daughter Rebecca Claxton, niece Dayna Morris, and close friends Sherry Olkus and Anthony Campanaro.

Tim was a 1966 graduate of Penns Grove High School in Salem County, NJ. After high school, he attended the Philadelphia College of the Arts where he earned bachelor’s degrees in industrial design, painting, and graphic design. Tim was first and foremost a gifted artist, but he spread his talents across many careers in his lifetime. He took most pride in being the business manager and medical director at Capri Hair Restoration in Bensalem, PA, which he co-owned from 2011 until his death. Tim was known for being a world traveler, a great storyteller, a generous friend, a tech and aviation enthusiast, someone who could find the humor in anything, and possibly the most unconventional person you could ever meet.

Tim's cremation is being handled by Delaware Valley Cremation Center, and a memorial celebration for him is scheduled for July 21st from 2-5pm at O’s Restaurant & Bar in Philadelphia. Please do NOT show up in black attire. Tim would have hated that! Be as colorful and eccentric as possible in his honor.
