Timothy P. Young, 31, lifelong resident of the Somerton section of Philadelphia, passed away suddenly on Friday, December 18, 2020.
Tim is survived by his daughter Emily Ava Young, his mother Rose (nee Feighan), his father Fran, his step-mother Wendy, and his 9 brothers and sisters: Jennifer Beck (Steve); William (Daniele); Sean; Kelly; Taylor; Colleen; Jessica; Erin; and Matthew along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and friends.
Tim went to St Christopher's, Archbishop Wood, and West Virginia University. He grew up in Somerton where he played basketball, baseball, and football at Somerton Youth Organization, basketball at St. Christopher's, and football at Archbishop Wood.
Tim worked as a Corporate Spokesperson for Primo Network Adventures. He was top Salesperson three years in a row, adamant about not giving up the "belt".
Tim is described as a family man, passionate about everything (not just sports), loyal, full of life, who had an infectious smile with a hilarious sense of humor. He was someone you could count on if you needed him, a Northeast Legend, card carrying member of the Bird Gang, and #1 fan of Nicky Legend Foles. Tim thought he could do it all, and he would let you know! He was an amazing guy with a big heart- and the proudest dad of his beloved Emmy bear.
Services will be held privately due to Covid restrictions.
Contributions in honor and in memory of Tim are requested to be made in order to help out with the future care and education of his beloved daughter Emily Ava: https://www.gofundme.com/f/in-memory-of-tim-young-for-emily
