Wallace B. Dixon, 84, of Bensalem, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne, Pennsylvania.

Born on May 17, 1941, in Clearfield, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late, Wallace J. Dixon and Violet L. Dixon.

Mr. Dixon proudly served his country with honor and distinction in both the United States Navy and the United States Air Force, including service during the Vietnam War. He began his military career in the Navy, serving for ten years with the Seabees (Construction Battalion), where he contributed his skills and dedication in support of critical operations during Vietnam.

After a brief period, he continued his commitment to service by joining the United States Air Force, where he served for over a decade as an electrician. His assignments took him across the country and around the world, including postings in South Carolina, Germany, and Spain, as well as temporary duty in Egypt. Through his hard work, leadership, and unwavering dedication, he rose to the rank of Master Sergeant before retiring from military service.

On December 31, 1999, he married Nancy M. (Reasinger) Dixon of Clearfield, Pennsylvania, with whom he shared many cherished years until her passing in 2018. In addition to his wife, Nancy, he was preceded in death by his sister, Shirley Ann Dixon (1951), his parents, Violet L. Dixon (1994) and Wallace J. Dixon (2007), his sister, Shelia Kephart (2022), who is survived by her husband, Phillip, and his brother, Burtis “Tink” W. Dixon (2026) who is survived by his wife, Judy.

Mr. Dixon was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He is survived by his four children: Shirley Dixon (Bill), of Bensalem, Pennsylvania; William Westall (Christine) of Cleveland, Ohio; Wallace S. Dixon (Nicole) of Holland, Pennsylvania; and Walter Dixon (Judith) of Levittown, Pennsylvania. He was a proud and loving grandfather to Catherine, Connor, and Thomas, who brought him great joy.

In addition, Mr. Dixon is survived by his siblings, Sharon Dunsmore (Dwight) of Long Pond, Pennsylvania; Archie C. Dixon (Carol) of Lucernemines, Pennsylvania; and John A. Dixon (Debbie) of Burke, Virginia.

Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service in Mr. Dixon’s honor at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road, Newtown, Pennsylvania, on May 8, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. Attendees are kindly asked to arrive by 10:15 a.m.
