Warren passed at home on February 22, 2026, cared for by his loved ones, his wife Margaret, his son, Andrew and daughter, Wendy. He was preceded in death by his parents Fred and Marie Goll and his siblings, Roger and Maxine.
Warren was a man of faith, family and community. He loved serving all three and enjoyed playing and watching football.
Warren was a member of the Lincoln HS championship football team. He graduated in 1960 and went on to play football and study Ornamental Horticulture at Delaware Valley University . He graduated with a bachelor’s of science degree in May 1964. Warren established Woodhaven Gardens Greenhouse and Nursery. He owned and operated this business for more than 50 years. Of his many awards he was named Pennsylvania Flower Grower of the year and was selected to participate in Washington DC on the Presidential inauguration committee designing and delivering flower arrangements for the President's many inaugural ballrooms. Warren next took his decades of experience and became a Penn State multi county extension agent. He was proud of the knowledge gained while running the Southeastern Pennsylvania Poinsettia trials. We enjoyed teasing him that he got paid to visit his friends.
Warren loved his community and served Bensalem in as many ways as he could. He was a member of the Tricentennial Committee, the Shade Tree Commission, he designed logos and parks. He was the Duckmaster and a dedicated member of Bensalem's Historical Society.
He lived his faith and Warren loved his Church families and served them with all his talents. His joy in serving Jesus was unmistakable.
His celebration of life service will be held on May 2nd at 2pm at Cornwells United Methodist Church, 2284 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, PA 19020. The church will open at 1pm for visiting with the family.
In lieu of flowers please consider donating in Warren's memory to Cornwells UMC, 2284 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, PA 19020.
