Age: 77 of Eastampton, NJ

Passed away on December 10, 2019.

Devoted husband of Anita Gooden (nee Sykes); Cherished father of Butch Gooden, Peggy (John) Wilkers and Dawn (Mark) Smith; Adoring grandfather of 7 grandchildren and great grandfather of 3.

Bill was a resident of Bridesburg for over 30 years and extremely involved with the Bridesburg Recreation Center. He was one of the founders of the Bridesburg Fathers Club and coached many sports through the years. He was also instrumental in forming and coaching women's flag football. He was commissioner of the Bridesburg men's softball league for many years as well. After he moved to Eastampton, he became very involved with the Rancocas Creek Association.

Please join the Gooden family after 3:00 pm Saturday, December 14th at Delaware Valley Cremation Center 7350 State Road Philadelphia, PA 19136 for a gathering of remembrance in honoring and celebrating Bill’s life. The memorial tribute service will begin promptly at 4:00 with time for cocktails, refreshments and fellowship immediately afterwards, from around 4:45 until 7:00 pm, where Bill’s wife and family will be accessible to receive the loving comfort of your condolences, remembrances and support.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Bridesburg Recreation Center, 4625 Richmond Street Philadelphia, PA in his memory would be greatly appreciated.
