William "Shagg" Twers

William “Shagg” Twers, passed away on March 15, 2024 at the age of 70.  Born on August 7, 1953 he was predeceased by his beloved wife Sydney, his parents Fred and Rosalie as well as his nephews Thomas and Andrew.

Shagg is survived by his brothers Fred, Dennis (Michelle) and Leonard, nephew Michael and niece Jennifer, as well as numerous cousins. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Shagg graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School and Lincoln Tech. He worked for Sunshine Scientific, Billows Electric, Colonial Electric, and Denny Electric. Shagg was a very easy going guy with a great sense of humor. He had a way of always putting people at ease. 

Please join the Twers family on Saturday, April 6, 2024 from 3:00 - 6:00 pm at Delaware Valley Cremation Center, 7350 State Road, Philadelphia, PA 19136 for a gathering of remembrance in honoring and celebrating Shagg’s life. Family sharing for him will begin at 4:00 pm with time for refreshments and fellowship afterwards, until 6:00 pm. Shagg's family will be accessible to receive the loving comfort of your condolences, remembrances and support throughout the evening.

In lieu of flowers, donations made in Shagg's name to the American Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated,
